Hood & Hearth

The route above the cooking surface

Hood & Hearth treats an extractor as part of a kitchen layout. Body width, mounting method, duct diameter and service access all affect the selection. A 52 cm cabinet insert poses different questions from a 90 cm ceiling-mounted hood, even before the listed airflow figures are compared.

The duct planner places those questions beside your selected equipment. Enter available width, existing round duct size and kitchen volume, then add the planned route length and elbow count. Nominal air changes and duct volume help organise the plan; they do not predict installed airflow through a finished route.

The accessory descriptions make interface differences visible. Carbon Pair fits HC18 models Line, Slope and Island. Duct 150 serves their 150 mm outlets. Insert 52 uses HC14 and a 125 mm outlet, so neither of those accessories is a direct match. The collection is organised to make such distinctions clear before installation decisions.
